This Hands-On Training provides a playground for IMS beginners to test, configure and troubleshoot different IMS protocols and concepts, by utilizing a Virtualized IMS network capable of establishing real IMS VoIP Calls and signaling.

Lab Objectives:
- Gain a deep understanding of IMS and its role in delivering multimedia services over IP networks.
- Learn how IMS overcomes telecom limitations by transitioning from circuit to packet-switched systems.
- Master IMS protocols like SIP, SDP, RTP, and Diameter for call setup, media negotiation, and authentication.
- Develop expertise in IMS architecture, including P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, and AS, for efficient call routing.
- Gain hands-on experience capturing and analyzing IMS traffic using Wireshark for troubleshooting and optimization.
Lab Architecture:
This Hands-On Training consists of virtualized IMS Network that can be used to establish a real IMS VoIP Call using softphones of different machines.
